Shonda WARNER
Shonda has twenty years of investing experience as a proprietary trader with Goldman Sachs and Cargill, and more recently as a partner of Montier Partners, a multi-manager hedge fund based in London with an excellent five-year track record.
Ivo WELCH
Ivo Welch is a professor of finance (School of Management) and economics at Yale University. He received a BA from Columbia University in computer science in 1985, an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1988 and a PhD from the University of Chicago in 1991. Prior to joining Yale University in 2000, he was a professor of finance at UCLA from 1989. From 2000 to 2001 Ivo was a principal in a hedge fund that traded based on detecting corporate earnings management and he currently sits on the advisory board of two alternative funds.
Ralph BURGESS
Ralph has fifteen years of experience trading derivatives in all the major asset classes, and has an impeccable record
for intelligent risk management in complex financial products. He began his career in foreign exchange options
at Goldman Sachs, then managed their global derivatives portfolio as head trader in Equity Derivatives, trading
profitably through the wild gyrations of the Japanese market in the early 1990s. Since 1998, he has been running an
innovative proprietary derivatives portfolio for the premier U.S. hedge fund, Tudor Investment Corporation.
Chess Capital is currently in the process of negotiating with future investment committee members.
